Salary $180,000 - $215,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, safety, logistics, and scheduling.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve key performance metrics (OEE, throughput, scrap reduction, on-time delivery, and cost control).
• Ensure compliance with company standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations (e.g., SQF, FDA, ISO if applicable).
• Partner with HR and department heads to hire, train, and develop team members—promoting a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and plant P&L management to ensure operational and financial targets are met.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and engineering teams to align production capabilities with customer demand and product innovation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, fostering a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization.
• Maintain strong working relationships with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to support business growth and service excellence.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing management, with at least 5 years in a plant leadership or general management role.
• Proven experience in plastic extrusion, film converting, or flexible packaging manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success managing production teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and P&L ownership.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, Lean/Continuous Improvement principles, and production metrics reporting.
