Salary: $80,000–$110,000 + Bonus

Job Description: LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Master Production Scheduler to join our client’s organization in the Carol Stream, IL area.

• Develop and maintain a master production plan to meet customer demand while minimizing inventory.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with plant capacity and sales forecasts.
• Determine inventory levels for finished goods, including safety stock.
• Create rolling three-month production plans based on sales forecasts and supply constraints.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and Management to achieve business goals.
• Optimize production runs and minimize changeovers to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Identify and communicate capacity constraints with manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Maintain data integrity in scheduling systems to support corporate objectives.
• Track and report on key business performance indicators.
• Monitor raw material levels to ensure continuous production.
• Serve as the primary contact for production information and support shipping date requests.
• Order raw materials as needed to support production plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and participate in cross‑functional teams to enhance customer service and efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 2+ years’ experience; in lieu of a degree, 5‑6 years of relevant experience required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in production planning, scheduling, and inventory management, preferably in manufacturing.
• APICS‑CPIM certification highly desired.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop actionable plans.
• Collaborative leadership style with a focus on high goal setting and team empowerment.
• Experience in fast‑paced, high‑mix manufacturing environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills, assertiveness, and persuasion.
• Proficiency with production planning software and ERP systems.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
• Prior experience in metals manufacturing is highly desirable.
