Job Summary

The Parts Finisher performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce various types of specified products in addition to completing routine tasks of hand washing or operating the ultrasonic wash machine to clean manufactured components.

Shift Hours

4:30 PM to 1:00 AM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deburr parts with tools such as deburring wheels, reamers, drills, sandpaper, Scotchbrite, small files, or small pneumatic tools
  • Load and unload materials or parts from washer to specified area
  • Immerse objects in washing and rinsing solutions to remove debris
  • Wash parts in an ultrasonic machine or solvent, dry parts, examine parts, remove debris
  • Measure and pour soap or chemical into wash water, set controls to regulate cycle of wash and water temperature
  • Inspect parts, some under a microscope
  • Perform Heli‑Coil installation
  • Complete parts assembly (non‑electronic parts) and packaging
  • Operate a pallet jack or other moving equipment
Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor as needed
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to recognize and sort materials
  • Ability to operate machinery
  • Strong work ethic: willing to work overtime to meet tight deadlines as needed
Education and Experience
  • Previous general labor experience in a machine shop environment preferred
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
Physical

Job Requirements
  • Regularly required to stand and reach during the duration of shift, 8–10 hours
  • Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend
  • Frequent requirement to perform repetitive or short‑cycle work
  • Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Understand and observe all necessary safety procedures: safety glasses, shoes, ear protection, machine interlocks, lifting guidelines, etc. as designated in specific work area assigned

Compensation

$18–20 per hour
