The Maintenance Tech performs highly diversified duties including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines, equipment, and plant facilities. This includes scheduled, unscheduled or emergency repairs. Performs regular preventive maintenance, which also includes maintaining supporting documentation for the PM’s.

• Conduct maintenance according to skill level and pursuant to safety policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those unusual situations to the facility maintenance manager.
• Utilize Microsoft Office, order and schedule parts, as well as jobs.
• Perform work in a safe manner and use Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Has completed or is working on a 2-year trades degree and/or 4 years of plant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write and speak English. Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
• Able to communicate and take direction from Sanitation Manager and communicate effectively with line workers, Leads, Supervisors and Plant Manager.
• Legible record‑keeping and data entry skills.
• Must be highly motivated, flexible and have creative problem‑solving abilities.
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Welding and fabrication, full understanding of 3 Phase electrical, three‑phase motor controls. Troubleshoot AC & DC drives.

• Manufacturing environment – exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures.
• Depending on which location, the environment can be very warm or refrigerated.
• Team environment – must be able to work well with others and communicate in a respectful and professional manner.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
• May be required to work weekend and night hours to fill in as needed.

Starting Pay:
Maintenance Technician $33.50/hr a shift differential is offered for 2nd shift opportunities. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full‑time employees including health, dental, 401(k) and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment.
