Material Handler​/Forklift Operator

Job Description

Assists in the production of quality parts by safely transporting parts and materials throughout the production facility. Assists in the proper disposal of waste product.

Location:

Carol Stream, Illinois, USA

• Operates industrial forklifts equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory or similar location.
• Manually handles parts and supplies production lines at a fast pace.
• Participates in routing, counting and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks; delivers and returns items.
• Scan items for inventory.
• Must know and follow all safety rules.
• Other misc. duties deemed necessary by supervisor.

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience and experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to safely work in a fast paced environment.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide whole numbers) and attention to details.
• Able to use RF Scanner.
• Knowledge of safety practices.
• Skill in both verbal and written communication.
