Job Title:
Material Handler / Forklift Driver
SUMMARY
Assists in the production of quality parts by safely transporting parts and materials throughout the production facility. Assists in the proper disposal of waste product.
Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
We offer a 2nd Shift differential of $2.00 / 3rd shift differential of $3.00 per hour.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operates industrial forklifts equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, or similar location.
- Manually handles parts and supplies production lines at a fast pace.
- Participates in routing, counting, and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks; delivers and returns items.
- Scan items for inventory.
- Must know and follow all safety rules.
Other misc. duties deemed necessary by supervisor.
Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
- Forklift experience and experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to safely work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide whole numbers) and attention to details
- Able to use RF Scanner
- Knowledge of safety practices
- Skill in both verbal and written communication
