Certified Nursing Assistant

In this role the Certified Nursing Assistant will:

• Reports directly to the nurse manager, may also take direction from licensed nurses on duty or other supervisory staff.
• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assists with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assists residents with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignment (e.g., bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toilet activities, grooming, feeding, transportation/transfer).
• Maintains resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner, including light housekeeping, changing linen, making beds, tidying bedside tables, shelves, closets, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Assists with resident laundry, ensuring clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away; notifies supervisor of clothing needs as they occur.
• Prepares residents for meals and assists with serving meals and feeding residents.
• May be cross‑trained in Assisted Living.

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listing on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

$19.13 - $23.33 per hour

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $19.13 - $23.33 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job‑related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
