General Maintenance Helper

We are currently looking to add a maintenance helper to our Encompass team. Pay is based on experience-though experience in all fields is not required. Team is willing to teach the skills necessary to perform the job.

This position is responsible for assisting maintenance supervisor with making sure our customer’s buildings and grounds run smoothly. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Performing commercial building maintenance repairs.
• Painting needed areas of building.
• Carpentry and lighting repairs.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
• Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
• Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect

• Carpentry/Drywall/Painting skills are required.
• Ability to organize tasks and work independently to include good reasoning and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge and ability to properly use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment essential to the job.
