Forklift Operator

Location:

Hanover Park, IL

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Hanover Park. The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, and storing products and materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting warehouse operations.

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload trucks while verifying product quantities and condition.
• Transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials throughout the warehouse.
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
• Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Inspect forklifts daily and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all company safety policies, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and warehouse procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and other warehouse activities as needed.
• Support receiving, shipping, and production departments to ensure operational efficiency.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous forklift operating experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Basic math and inventory management skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
