Electrical Engineer (Electro-Mechanical Device Manufacturing)

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to design circuitry for Electro-Mechanical Devices used in multiple applications including Aerospace, Defense, Military, Industrial, Automotive, Medical, and Consumer Electronics Markets. Working on concept through production product development, as well as participate in technical resolution of field and production issues. Candidates with a background in portable battery-powered electronics, as well as analog, audio, and digital circuitry are a strong fit for the position.

• Analog/Digital circuit design, prototyping, and performance evaluation to meet customer and/or internal specifications
• Component specification and selection
• Generate schematics, bills-of-material (BOMs), and provide PCB layout guidance
• Evaluate and document product performance to customer specifications
• Technical sales support
• Determine production test requirements
• Assist Production to validate test equipment as needed
• Product Support
• Cross collaboration and coordinating with Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales
• Maintain required engineering documentation: schematics, BOM’s, ECN’s, drawings, layouts

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering
• Minimum of 2 year of experience in concept-through-production product development
• Audio and Analog circuit design experience (OpAmps, Filters, Transistor Circuitry, Codecs, Power Supplies, etc)
• Digital and microprocessor circuit design experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Prior Experience with Portable battery operated electromechanical devices is a plus
• Schematic Entry (Altium or similar program)
• Some embedded coding experience is a plus
• EMC and ESD Compliance, and Intrinsically Safe (UL, ATEX, FM) circuit experience a plus
