OTTO’s opportunity:

Our Injection Mold Maker is responsible for fabrication of Injection Molding tooling.

Specifically, the Injection Mold Maker will:

• Keep a clean and safe work area.
• Understanding of tool steels and production materials.
• Understanding of Molding tool room equipment.
• Knowledge of piece part inspection to quality specifications.
• Capable of working from blueprints and/or CAD models to construct, alter, or repair tooling.
• Responsible for maintaining and fabrication of molds for the molding department.
• Assist in preventative maintenance for molds in the molding department.
• Assist in the design of piece parts for manufacturability.
• Basic understanding of operation of injection molding.
• Assist in ordering supplies in the molding tool room.
• Assist with communication of customers.
• Assist with on time delivery.
• Assist with other related duties as required or assigned.

What you’ll need to bring to the table:

• Complete OTTO apprenticeship, or 5 years’ experience with Mold making/repair.
• Knowledgeable of injection molding tool design.
• Proficient in the use of CAD.
• Able to run CNC & EDM machines.
• Knowledgeable in the use of Surface Grinders and Mills.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• Sound inspection skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift 50
  
  Lbs.
• Must be available for overtime when needed.

The hiring range listed in this posting is what we,in good faith, anticipate relying on when confirming an hourly rate forthis position; exceptions may be considered for highly experiencedcandidates with multiple years of at-level experience.

• Target hourly hiring range: $26.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
• Profit Sharing Bonus - OTTO believes that it’s fair to share the profits thatthe employees help to make; profit sharing is distributed to employeestwice a year. OTTO’s profit sharing plan is paid at the discretion ofthe company and is not a guaranteed bonus or any part of a compensation plan.
• Vacation: five days after 30 days of employment and 80 hours at 1 year - vacation time is earned on the anniversary date.
