The City of Carpinteria is seeking a Building Official to join the Community Development Department. You will oversee the Building Division, perform plan review, field inspections, and provide code interpretation to support safe, high-quality development in our coastal community.
As the primary building official, you will work closely with planners, contractors, design professionals, property owners and the public while managing permits and departmental operations.
