• Provide patient assessment, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Utilize EMT skills to provide care, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and applicable traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.

• Must be at least 18 years of age; prior work experience in a health care system preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• California driver’s license.
• Ambulance driver’s license (from DMV).
• Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MCSA-5875 and MCSA-5876).
• State of California EMT certification.
• CPR Card (American Heart Association only; hand-written cards are not acceptable).
• K4 report (Driving Record) from the DMV (less than 30 days old).
• ICS courses: IS-100 (ICS 100), IS-200 (ICS 200), IS-700 (NIMS), IS-800 (NIMS). Refer to (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). for training completion.
