Seven Lakes Contracting & Asphalt is looking for a skilled and dependable CDL Driver to join our hardworking team in West End, NC. Responsibilities:- Operate commercial vehicles to transport asphalt, materials, and equipment to and from job sites
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Coordinate with site supervisors and crew to ensure timely material delivery
- Maintain accurate driving logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed on job sites
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned commercial vehicle
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) — Class A or B required
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to road safety
- Experience operating dump trucks, tandem axle trucks, or similar heavy equipment preferred
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions on active construction sites
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
