Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Workshop Technician to join our growing team at Kerr & Smith. You will assist in the servicing, repair, and maintenance of a variety of vehicles, including cars and vans, while developing your skills under the guidance of experienced technicians. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to expand your knowledge of vehicle systems and contribute to delivering quality service.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with servicing and repairs of cars and vans
  • Support experienced technicians in the diagnosis of electrical and engine faults
  • Participate in manufacturer warranty repairs
  • Electric vehicle servicing and repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed
  • Ensure a clean and organised work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an automotive workshop or similar environment.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures.
  • A willingness to learn and develop skills in electric vehicle technology.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Salary and Benefits:
