The OpportunityDouglas & Grahame are now looking for a passionate, ambitious Business Manager to join the business and work closely with senior leadership across a broad range of operational and commercial initiatives. This is a unique opportunity for someone to work at the centre of a fast-paced business, driving projects forward, improving processes, and supporting the day-to-day execution of company priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the Managing Director with key business initiatives and projects
- Co-ordinating cross-functional projects; monitoring timelines, deliverables, and business priorities to ensure execution stays on track
- Supporting communication and collaboration across departments
- Providing regular updates on project progress and business activities
- Supporting business reporting, planning, and performance analysis
- Assisting with planning and execution of seasonal product ranges and sourcing
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and internal processes
- Supporting ad hoc needs of the MD and day-to-day business management as required
To be considered as the Business Manager, you will need:
- Previous experience in a commercial, business operations, project management or similar role
- Strong commercial awareness and business understanding
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and solution-focused approach
- The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent IT skills, including Excel and Power Point
Experience with in fashion, retail or consumer goods would be advantageous.
