We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager / Senior Contract Manager to lead and oversee residential groundworks and infrastructure civils projects across the Northern Home Counties. This is a hands‑on role requiring expertise in delivering construction contracts safely, on time, and within budget, while managing teams and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

• Take full ownership of contract delivery for groundworks and infrastructure civils projects.
• Manage project teams, including subcontractors and internal staff, ensuring high performance and accountability.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Control project budgets, monitor costs, and implement corrective actions to maintain financial performance.
• Ensure all works are executed in line with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide regular project reports, updates, and risk assessments to senior management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, sharing best practice across projects.

• Proven experience in Groundworks / Civils construction, particularly within residential developments.
• Strong understanding of the fast‑paced construction environment and ability to work under pressure.
• Track record of successfully managing multiple contracts and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, procurement, and compliance processes.
• Ability to travel within the operational patch (Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire).
