Overview

Education Personnel are working with a primary school in Allestree to recruit a long-term, full-time Teaching Assistant. This Teaching Assistant role offers consistency and stability, working within the same setting on a full-time basis and becoming part of the day-to-day running of the school.

The school is set within a well-maintained site that includes a dedicated support base, clearly organised classrooms, and a large outdoor space used for PE, interventions, and group activities. Support staff are assigned clear roles and timetables, allowing pupils to receive regular, predictable support. Teaching assistants work closely with class teachers and the wider support team and are involved in planning discussions and reviewing pupil progress.

The school values reliability and clear communication and provides a structured environment where expectations are understood across the board.

  • Has experience working in a UK primary school
  • Confident supporting pupils across the primary age range
  • Consistent, organised, and dependable
  • Comfortable following school systems and expectations
  • Able to build effective working relationships with staff and pupils
