Pembury Primary School is a 'Good' community school for pupils aged 4 to 11. We are a right respecting silver school, which means we have a commitment to support the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). Why not come and ask our children about this?
We are seeking a Play leader to join our friendly school. The main purpose of this role is to supervise and assist our pupils throughout the lunch period to ensure their wellbeing and safety.
The successful person will be working both in the dining room and out on the playground/field
. We are an OPAL school which means a great deal of time and resource is put into ensuring our children have the best experience children have a range of areas to play for example:
- quiet zone
- sand pit
- music garden
- football area
- dodgeball
- dress up
- den building
- much more
Experience is preferable but not necessary, however flexibility, respect, resilience and good communication skills are essential together with a commitment to quality play.
The hours are 11.15am to 1.15pm
, Monday to Friday, term time only, we also have the option of a two day a week position
. The salary is within Kent Range Band 3 and will be paid pro rata.
