Functional Skills Lead

Full time 42 hours per week
£33,067 - £47,352 per annum (depending on experience)

An excellent opportunity to join a dedicated and supportive teaching team has arisen at Treloar College. We are seeking an exceptional teacher to lead Functional Skills Maths and English across the College. This will include planning, organising, delivery and monitoring with learners from Entry Level to Level 2. The successful candidate will adapt learning opportunities and approaches to suit the needs of learners with complex Special Educational Needs.

They will also provide support and training to teachers and other staff on assessment, target setting, lesson planning, delivery and resources for these subjects.

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with subject specialisms in Literacy and Numeracy. We welcome applications from teachers with a range of experience and provide a considerable amount of in‑house training to develop you and your skills.
