Position: Project Engineer (Interfaces)

About the role

Join us and help deliver world‑class HVDC projects that will shape the future of the UK’s transmission system.

Strategic Infrastructure is developing and constructing a series of HVDC projects along the east coast of Great Britain. These projects play a vital part in achieving the UK Government’s ambition of connecting 50GW of offshore wind by 2030.

That’s why we’re looking for Project Engineers to develop and coordinate activities across projects within the Offshore Portfolio. You’ll work closely with other Project Engineers to ensure interfaces across projects are managed holistically.

This is an exciting opportunity to apply your engineering knowledge and experience to facilitate the development of major infrastructure projects. This includes engaging effectively with stakeholders and managing interfaces across the project. You’ll play a key role to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of projects, whilst minimising risks to successful delivery.

Our project portfolio will scale up the UK’s capacity to transport home‑produced clean energy, predominantly from offshore wind, from where it is generated to where there is demand. By doing so it will increase the security, resilience, and stability of the UK’s transmission network. That’s a job anyone can be proud of.

In this role you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home. You’ll be flexible to regular travel throughout England and Scotland, depending on the project.
