• Carry out asbestos consultancy and auditing for external clients
• Mentor SOCOTEC staff and audit/approval of staff
• Drive up standards within the asbestos division

• Excellent knowledge of all aspects of asbestos air monitoring and survey work
• Effective communication skills with an ability to confidently convey your knowledge to all levels of stakeholder
• Self‑learner with a genuine interest in keeping up to date on UK and international aspects of asbestos trends, guidance and legislation

The SOCOTEC Asbestos team holds UKAS accreditation for both Inspection and Testing and is one of the leading asbestos consultancies in the UK. We provide all aspects of asbestos consultancy services, ensuring clients are better equipped to comply with current legislation. These services include surveying, lab analysis of samples, managing removal projects on the clients’ behalf, consultancy, policy reviews, action plans and training.

We operate out of six offices covering all areas of the UK and assist more than 300 clients on a variety of projects, from offices to military bases to hospitals.
