Senior Engineering Geologist; SW

Location: Tiverton with site work based around the UK

As a Senior Engineering Geologist you will play a pivotal role in every stage of projects, managing clients, subcontractors, on-site work and data analysis to produce accurate interpretive reports.

• Manage intrusive investigations such as drilling, sampling and in-situ testing.
• Log soils and rocks to BS standards.
• Liaise and manage clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Keep detailed site records, complete RAMS and manage health & safety documentation.
• Prepare report writing and data interpretation.
• Take ownership of site activities with support from experienced mentors and mentor graduates.
• Maintain accurate site records, logs and daily reports.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with specifications, standards and method statements.
• Process data and prepare reports as required.

• Relevant degree in geology, engineering or similar.
• 4+ years in ground investigations.
• Experience working outdoors independently and in teams.
• Knowledge and understanding of safe working and SHEQ culture.
• Full UK driving licence and willing to travel or stay away as needed.
• Experience with direct exposure to site works, decision making, risk assessment and basic design and implementation of projects.

• CSCS Card, First Aid, EUSR HSG
  47 CAT 1 & 2.
