Responsibilities

French speaking Finance Lead
Location:
Remote UK
Salary: £120,000 per annum

Main duties:
This position will be responsible for managing the accounting functions including a small finance team
Report to the US-based Director of Operational Finance.

The role:
– Lead the France finance team in monthly accounting close, reporting, and forecasting
– Oversee monthly forecasting for sales, income statement, and cash flow
– Manage all statutory accounting processes (journal entries, reconciliations, month/year-end close, trial balance, tax returns)
– Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings and analysis (trial balance review, flux analysis, payroll coordination)
– Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley financial certifications
– Review journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close process
– Guide external and internal audit requirements

Candidate's Profile

– Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
– Strong knowledge of IFRS and statutory accounts
– Experience in multi-national, multi-currency organizations
– Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
– High-achieving individual with a strong financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
skillset and a solid accounting background
