Job Description

The tax function is looking to recruit an experienced team member to manage a wide range of projects and responsibilities.

The team is part of Global Tax and sits within Finance in East Finchley, London. We support the UK and Republic of Ireland (“UK&I”) business across all taxes. The varied role will have a phenomenal combination of commercial and technical aspects, and will involve strategic responsibilities for both ad-hoc advisory work and compliance related projects.

The work will span different taxes, multiple responsibilities on the go and thus the role requires leadership skills, pro-activity, technical strength, resilience and a willingness to develop themselves as well as coach others in the team.

Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant and/or Chartered tax advisor (e.g. ACA, CTA and equivalents) with a corporate tax background in practice and/or industry. Experience across different taxes is useful, otherwise a strong desire to expand tax knowledge is essential
  • Strong across the board in key competencies, including Leadership, Teamwork, Communication, Tax technical ability, Project management skills
  • The candidate should demonstrate the potential to be a future leader
  • Having a continuous improvement mind-set, working optimally…
