About The Role
As a Home Care Support Worker you will provide care to individuals within their own homes. You will travel between clients through the community and in our retirement villages, performing a variety of tasks according to the person‑led care plan. You will receive thorough training, shadowing an experienced worker before working alone.
What You Will Do- Personal care: help clients get up, dressed, bathe, take medication and meet nutritional needs.
- Domestic support: assist with general housework, laundry and shopping.
- Financial care: collect pensions and help clients budget effectively and manage bills.
- Social support: accompany clients to local clubs or activities and help them remain active socially.
- Full pay training and learning opportunities.
- Travel time paid at minimum wage and a mileage allowance.
- Full‑time 40hrs per week or part‑time flexible minimum 16hrs per week.
- Commitment to driving and rural area travel with business insurance.
Reliable, kind and caring with a flexible approach to work. Previous experience in a care environment is not essential, but a desire to help others and build rapport with clients is essential.
