Property and Partnership dispute resolution for GPs
We’re looking to recruit a Property Litigation Solicitor (2 - 5 years qualified+), with experience in acting for GPs to join our Property Litigation team, and take a lead role nationally in the delivery of property litigation and partnership dispute resolution work for our GP clients.
The role will involve a unique combination of property litigation work on a full range of landlord and tenant matters and also cases involving partnership dispute resolution.
Candidates will need to have experience as a property litigator and in acting for GP clients. Experience in acting for GPs on partnership disputes would be ideal but is not essential.
There will also be opportunities to work with the Partners and other senior members of the team on business development opportunities for these clients.
THE TEAMOur Property Litigation team acts for GPs, dentists and pharmacists on a full range of property litigation work including landlord and tenant disputes, service charge disputes, boundary issues, and overcoming restrictive covenants. The team also deals with high profile GP partnership dispute resolution. Daniel Kirk is the lead Partner at Capsticks with responsibility for this work and is a CEDR accredited mediator.
Capsticks is ranked in band 1 in the Medical Partnerships section of Chambers Legal Directory for its work with GP practices.
Skills And Experience- At least 2-5 years’ PQE as a solicitor advising on property litigation matters;
- Experience in acting for GPs;
- Experience in dealing with partnership dispute work would be ideal;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Excellent commercial awareness;
- Excellent organisation and time management skills;
- The ability and willingness to work independently but always with support and supervision as needed; and
- A team orientated mindset
