Honeycomb is delighted to be partnering with a well-established law firm in Carrickfergus to recruit a Legal Secretary
. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and supportive team, providing dedicated secretarial support to a Senior Partner within an established legal practice.
Working closely with a Senior Partner, you will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support, primarily within the conveyancing department. The role would suit an experienced Legal Secretary with a background in conveyancing who is looking to join a supportive and professional legal practice.
Both part-time and full-time hours will be considered, with flexibility around working hours to suit the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive team, playing an important role in providing effective secretarial and administrative support to a Senior Partner.

- Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence
- Providing dedicated support across conveyancing matters
- Managing client files and maintaining accurate records
- Dealing professionally with clients, solicitors and third parties
- Preparing conveyancing documentation and correspondence
- Managing diaries, appointments and meetings
- Answering telephone calls and dealing with client enquiries
- Opening, maintaining and closing files
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring matters progress efficiently
- General administrative support across the office
- Proven experience supporting conveyancing matters
- Strong secretarial and administrative skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Professional and confident when dealing with clients and third parties
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Discreet and trustworthy when handling confidential information
