We're looking for an experienced Depot Manager to lead a fast-growing fresh food distribution operation. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility role where you'll shape and develop a high-performing warehouse and transport team.

As Depot Manager - Warehouse & Logistics, you'll take ownership of a busy warehouse and logistics function, driving efficiency, service excellence, and operational standards. Based in a high-growth environment, this role is perfect for someone with strong operational leadership who enjoys building teams, improving processes, and making a real impact.

• £50,000 - £65,000 salary, dependent on experience

• Lead daily warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy
• Oversee stock control, picking, packing, and dispatch
• Manage transport planning and delivery performance
• Recruit, train, and develop warehouse staff and drivers
• Monitor KPIs, operational performance, and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and operational procedures

• We need an experienced leader who has:
• Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management, ideally in fresh food or FMCG
• Hands-on leadership style and ability to lead from the front
• Experience managing ambient, chilled, and frozen operations (desirable)
• Track record of hiring, training, and developing teams
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and operational discipline
• IT skills with confidence in warehouse/logistics systems and reporting
