Maintenance Engineer

Shift Maintenance Engineer Co. Antrim Salary up to £53,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company. This role will be responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
* Carry out effective maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment
* Develop, maintain, and implement planned preventative maintenance schedules
* Ensure all equipment remains safe, operational, and compliant with relevant legislation
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in line with quality, safety, and environmental standards
* Work collaboratively with production teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness
* Provide technical support, knowledge sharing, and engineering expertise across the business
* Identify and implement technical solutions to enhance manufacturing processes
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the production of high-quality products
* Promote high standards of housekeeping and safe working practices
* Comply with environmental and energy policies and procedures Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
* Time-served Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineer
* Previous experience within an industrial maintenance environment
* Proven fault-finding and repair experience within a manufacturing setting
* Experience carrying out preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment
