Fish House Attendant

As the largest wholesale distribution company servicing the pet trade across Ireland, based in Carrickfergus, we are seeking to recruit livestock operators due to increasing volumes of demand.

Livestock operators work in a fast-paced environment picking and packing a variety of Tropical, Coldwater, Pond fish, Reptiles and live food all while maintaining the health requirements of the animals.

• Unpacking and sorting of livestock deliveries
• Catching and packing of fish orders for customers
• Maintenance and cleaning of tanks between deliveries of fish
• Feeding and health maintenance of the fish stock
• General upkeep of the Fish House areas
• Assist with periodic stocktaking

• No essential skills necessary as successful applicants will receive full interactive on the job training within the livestock department
• Keen interest in fish and aquatic animals
