The Opportunity

We are seeking to recruit a proactive, bright, articulate and motivated individual to research suitable opportunities to deploy our investors’ funds.

Playing a crucial part in the Business Development team, you will be responsible for providing the Business Development Managers (BDMs) with high quality, well-researched opportunities.

About

the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to forge a career in the renewable energy sector. We need someone to:

  • Identify prospective customers / sites that meet our investment criteria.
  • Research each opportunity using available tools, our own data set and other external data sources as appropriate.
  • Identify and research the owners of these sites, including key contacts, financial information and other suitable business information, this may include tools that we use to estimate energy consumption.
  • Engage site owners to discuss the opportunity for deploying institutional funds for renewable energy assets such as solar, batteries and others. Engagement will be via phone, email, Linked In and other means.
  • Collate information into an agreed format for sharing and hand over with the BD team.
  • Maintain database of opportunities and transfer to CRM as appropriate.
  • As experience develops, support the BD team as appropriate on external sales meetings.
About you

The successful candidate will have a pro‑active, excellent attention to detail, self‑motivated, resilient and adaptable personality, ideally computer and financially literate, specifically;

  • Excel
  • Google (Google Earth highly desirable)
  • Power Point
  • Familiarity with Linked In and other social media platforms
