Backend Engineer, Monetization

The Monetization team at Miro builds the pricing and packaging platform, enabling product teams to package and sell products, run experiments to optimize the conversion funnel, and collaborate with Payments and License Management to deliver AI‑first capabilities.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale core services that power selling products for tens of millions of users, including microservices and metered usage monetization (e.g., credits) and new product launches.

• Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services for pricing and packaging.
  • Prototype new ideas and create proofs of concept.
  • Support experimentation and drive initiatives to optimize conversion.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to bring new products to market on the Monetization platform.
  • Shape architecture for scalability, maintainability, and high code quality—test, automation, and AI‑assisted tooling.
• Qualifications
  • 6+ years of backend engineering experience.
  • Strong production experience with Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience designing scalable services.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD, observability, and test automation.
