• Performs assessments of residents' conditions upon admission and periodically during the nursing process to ensure quality care based on assessed needs and standards.
• Administers medications and therapeutic measures according to physician’s orders, observing and documenting effects.
• Documents all nursing interventions to facilitate communication among staff and ensure legal compliance.
• Provides guidance and assigns tasks to subordinate staff based on their capabilities.
• Assists in developing discharge or transfer plans with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborates with physicians in coordinating medical and nursing care plans, reporting changes in residents' conditions.
• Supervises and trains subordinate personnel and peers.
• Maintains safety for residents and staff, reporting unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
• Monitors residents' health, vital signs, blood sugar, and reports any changes to the physician.
• Assists with resident assessments and care planning, ensuring quality and standards are met.
• Supports restorative nursing care and assists with discharges and transfers.
• Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Responds to emergencies with appropriate actions, including first aid and CPR.
• Practices professionally, ethically, and safely, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to policies and regulations.

• RN or LPN with valid state license.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent communication, judgment, and compassionate care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
