ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse in a healthcare facility located in the area is responsible for providing specialized critical care to patients with complex medical needs. The role involves managing CCU level patients, performing titrations of drips, and collaborating with charge nurses to ensure quality patient care on a 12-hour night shift.

• Responsibilities include managing patients with diagnoses such as CHF, Pneumonia, COPD, Sepsis, DKA, and assisting with procedures like central line insertions, thoracentesis, and paracentesis performed by providers.
• Must be capable of titrating common drips including Cardizem, insulin, and nor epinephrine.
• Float: CAH hospital so need to be able to float to the Med Surg Peds side. Rarely float to other departments but cross‑training in behavioral health and Emergency Department is possible upon request.
• Shifts & Scheduling: 12-hour night shifts starting at 7:00 PM, with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break. Schedules are cyclic over 6 weeks with some flexibility on weekend and holiday requirements.
• Additional Notes:
  Must be aware of unit-specific quality initiatives and security protocols related to medication drawer access.
