About the University

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage stopped‑out students and recruit them to return to UWG to complete their degree.
  • Provide holistic support to students in developing degree completion plans, collaborating with academic units, advising, CAS, Student Financial Services, and the Registrar.
  • Offer proactive, ongoing support to students as needed, helping them navigate curricular and other academic and financial services.
  • Monitor progress of returned students; maintain a database and track strategic/process revisions.
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree.
  • Experience working with college students in an academic context (advising, academic coaching, instruction, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the institutional structure typical of higher education academic affairs and with higher education curriculum.

Proposed Salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually (paid monthly).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with adaptability for different audiences.
  • Strong understanding of higher education institutions and functions of different divisions.
  • Self‑directed and proactive approach to curriculum planning for students, considering goals, constraints, and university services.
  • Aptitude for managing multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset and experience working across multiple departments.

Physical Requirements:

Lifting up to 15 lbs; typical office environment.
