Responsibilities- Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage stopped‑out students and recruit them to return to UWG to complete their degree.
- Provide holistic support to students in developing degree completion plans, collaborating with academic units, advising, CAS, Student Financial Services, and the Registrar.
- Offer proactive, ongoing support to students as needed, helping them navigate curricular and other academic and financial services.
- Monitor progress of returned students; maintain a database and track strategic/process revisions.
- Master’s degree.
- Experience working with college students in an academic context (advising, academic coaching, instruction, etc.).
- Familiarity with the institutional structure typical of higher education academic affairs and with higher education curriculum.
Proposed Salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually (paid monthly).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Effective oral and written communication skills with adaptability for different audiences.
- Strong understanding of higher education institutions and functions of different divisions.
- Self‑directed and proactive approach to curriculum planning for students, considering goals, constraints, and university services.
- Aptitude for managing multiple ongoing tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail.
- Collaborative mindset and experience working across multiple departments.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 15 lbs; typical office environment.
