Network Engineer III - Information Technology (Days)

To participate as a team member of the Information Systems department, participating in the day‑to‑day operations of the office. This individual will assist in the setup and troubleshooting of routers, switches, and all applicable networking equipment. In addition this individual will monitor and maintain all 802.11 wireless equipment as well as all subsidiary equipment. This team member will also perform all other duties as assigned.

• Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework
• Five years of related experience. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.
• Network+ certification

• Minimum 5 years experience required in support and design of LAN/WAN
• In‑depth knowledge of VLANs, layer 2 and layer 3 switching, and routing protocols.
• 5 years experience with firewalls, routers, switches, security auditing, VPNs, remote access, and overall network design.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with the Architecture Committee and Security Architect on all design reviews and approvals.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) strongly preferred
• CompTIA Network+, Security+, or equivalent certifications considered a plus.
• Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or higher may be accepted in lieu of equivalent experience or formal education, at the discretion of management.
