Senior Director, Benefits and Retirement

How will you power what’s possible?
Leads the strategic direction, design, and governance of enterprise-wide benefits and wellness programs, encompassing health, retirement, and well-being initiatives. Ensures alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory compliance. Partners with executive leadership to develop and execute integrated total rewards strategies that enhance employee experience and support talent attraction and retention. Oversees vendor partnerships and evaluates program performance to drive continuous improvement and value realization.
Key ResponsibilitiesDrives accountability across the benefits and retirement function to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives.
Communicates the benefits and retirement strategies to senior-level management, guiding the development of strategic initiatives aligned with company objectives.
Leads departmental operations to ensure efficiency and achievement of key performance metrics across the benefits and retirement portfolio.
Oversees strategic partnerships with external vendors and consultants, including brokers, carriers, administrators, and onsite clinic providers.
Defines the strategy for the development of benefits, retirement and wellness programs, ensuring alignment with overall corporate goals and the changing needs of team members.
Establishes departmental policies and standardized processes to ensure efficient and consistent delivery of benefits, retirement and wellness programs.
Champions cross-functional collaboration to embed benefits, retirement and wellness initiatives into broader enterprise strategies.
Drives the implementation of targeted improvements to mitigate organizational exposure, ensure compliance, and optimize program integrity and effectiveness.
Ensures financial stewardship and alignment of benefits and retirement investments with organizational priorities and cost optimization goals.
Required Education & ExperienceBachelor's Degree:
Human Resources Management or related field
12-14 Years of Experience
Preferred Education & ExperienceMastr's Degree:
Human Resources Management or related field
15+ Years of Experience
Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP)
