Carrollton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is looking for a FT Staff Development Coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities- Understands facility policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations.
- Utilizes regulations, policies, procedures and job descriptions to define, plan, implement and evaluate learning opportunities.
- Develops and directs orientation programs for all personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitors and supervises continuity between classroom and clinical application.
- Maintains accurate, complete and up-to-date records of educational programs and personnel participation.
- Assist in assessing learning needs of personnel to meet the needs of the consumer, organization and the employee.
- Ensures that patient/resident rights to fair and equitable treatment, self-determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil streets, including the right to wage a complaint, are well established and always maintained.
- Participate in the quality assessment and improvement process and activities.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
- Must be able to relate to information concerning a patient condition.
