Carpenter​/Finisher

About this role Seeking a skilled carpenter/finisher for a project at Plant Wansley near Carrollton, GA. This is a hands-on role focused on finish and general carpentry work in an industrial/plant setting. Expect layout, trim, bench work, and some framing tasks. This opportunity appears to be a short-term assignment on a commercial/industrial project. Candidates should be able to start promptly, read and interpret drawings, and work safely around heavy equipment and other trades.

What you'll doRead and follow technical drawings, shop drawings, and blueprints for finish and framing work Perform finish carpentry tasks: install trim, door frames, hardware, and finish millwork

Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately using hand and power tools

Complete bench carpentry tasks and fit components per specifications

Assist with general framing and layout as needed for plant installations

Maintain tools, keep work areas clean, and follow site safety procedures

What we're looking for Proven experience in general and finish carpentry on commercial or industrial projects

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and shop drawings

Skilled in measuring, cutting, fitting, and finishing millwork

Bench carpentry and joinery experience

Journeyman-level skillset or equivalent field experience

Comfort working in an active plant environment and following site safety rules

Qualifications

Journeyman Carpenter certification or equivalent experience

Proficient with blueprint and technical drawing interpretation

Experience in bench and finish carpentry

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Carrollton, GAAble to lift, stand, and work at heights as required by site tasks
