Carbon Steel Welders – Plant Wansley | Carrollton, GA

NCW is hiring 4 experienced Carbon Steel Welders for a 10-month project at Plant Wansley in Carrollton, GA. Candidates must have TIG and Stick welding certifications and experience with GTAW and SMAW welding processes.

Job Type: Long-Term Project
Hourly Rate: $40–$45/hour
Per Diem: $500/week
Expected Hours: 58 hours per week — five 10-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift
Start Date: ASAP, pending orientation
Duration: Approximately 10 months

Required Skills:

• Experience welding carbon steel
• Proficiency in TIG and Stick welding
• Knowledge of GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) and SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) processes
• Ability to follow welding specifications and jobsite safety procedures

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform carbon steel welding using TIG and Stick processes
• Complete welding tasks according to project specifications
• Maintain quality and accuracy throughout welding operations
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety protocols
• Maintain a safe and organized work area

Experience & Certifications:

• Previous carbon steel welding experience required
• Valid TIG welding certification required
• Valid Stick welding certification required
• Experience with GTAW and SMAW welding processes required
