Competitive Sports Officials are responsible for maintaining a fun and competitive environment for participants. Officials must implement competitive sports policies and rules to ensure an appropriate level of control, fairness, and safety. Sports officiated may include basketball, flag football, soccer, volleyball, softball, and other activities. Previous officiating experience is not required; training for all Intramural Sports is provided.

• Current University of West Georgia student enrolled for six credit hours and maintaining at least a 2.0 Cumulative Grade‑Point Average
• Valid Driver’s License

• Ability to lift 25 pounds
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods

• Customer service experience
• Basic knowledge of rules related to sports offered

• Resume

• Ability to handle conflict resolutions and high‑intensity environments
• Willingness to learn and take constructive criticism
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
