Location: Carrollton, TX
Salary: $ – $ USD per year
Description: The Judge Group is seeking an Accounting Manager for our client in their Carrollton, TX area operations. The qualified individual will have a BS in Accounting and experience with monthly close, assisting with SEC reporting and taxes in a manufacturing company.
Responsibilities- Manage domestic accounting close (preparation, review accruals, and reconciliations)
- Prepare sales and use taxes, and tangible/intangible tax returns
- Maintain fixed assets
- Lead accounts payable operations
- Oversee corporate and sales tax
- Manage accounting associates
- Prepare monthly financial reports and detailed analyses
- Assist with SEC reporting
- Develop internal financial reports
- Manage public accountants during quarterly reviews and annual audit
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of experience managing an accounting department
- CPA preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office experience
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Experience with monthly close, SEC reporting, and taxes in a manufacturing environment preferred
