Financial Additions has a great contract-to-hire opportunity for a degreed and experienced staff accountant. This is a hybrid role located near Carrollton, Texas.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare financial statements and assist with external reporting and audits
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and research variances
- Develop and maintain Excel-based reports and analyses
- Perform variance analysis against budget and forecast
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Qualifications include:
- 2-3 years in a staff-level accounting position (with JE, GL, reconciliation, and analysis duties, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Stong Excel skills (must know Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP)
- Experience with ERP or accounting software
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
