Job Description
The RoleThis is an office-based finance role focused on supporting the financial operations of our landscaping company. You’ll help maintain accurate financial records, manage billing and expenses, support reconciliations and month-end close, and work closely with the Finance and Operations teams to keep our financial processes organized and on track.
We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. You’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial needs of the business and helping ensure our accounting processes run smoothly as we continue to grow.
What You Will Own- Vendor invoices, payments, and records
- Customer billing and accounts receivable
- Expense and receipt tracking
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Monthly close and financial reporting
- Job costing and financial recordkeeping
- Payroll and 1099 contractor support
- Coordination with Finance and Operations teams
- 1 + year of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
- Basic to strong Quick Books Online experience
- Understanding of bank reconciliations and monthly close
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with a service-based business is a plus
- Landscaping or construction industry experience is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
