Spee Dee swiftly grew into a quick lube and automotive tune-up service business, and by the mid-90s, Spee Dee had added complete brake service and grew to a full-service auto maintenance and repair facility.

Spee Dee takes the well-being of employees and customers seriously. We are following cleaning protocols and continuing to monitor CDC recommendations related to sanitation procedures associated with COVID-19.

During the 17-Point Oil Change, the Automotive Service Center Courtesy Technician is responsible for the tasks that the customer can most readily see, such as vacuuming, cleaning the windows, and setting the tire pressure. Performing these duties with care and professionalism will create a positive impression with the customer.

• Greet customers and place seat covers in the vehicle
• Drive vehicle into bay, prepare vehicle for service – open hood, roll up windows, unlock doors, remove keys
• Perform Tech Talk service
• Prepare service documents and prepare and affix static stickers
• Perform courtesy cleaning: vacuum interior, wash exterior windows, clean headlamps and wash mirrors
• Visually inspect wiper blades
• Check and adjust tire pressure if necessary
• Reset oil indicator light, if applicable
• Start vehicle and check oil pressure drive vehicle out of bay and present to customer
• Thank customer for their business and invite them to return in 90 days

In addition to the duties listed above, every crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows and clearing litter. Crew members must attend crew meetings as required, as well as other duties assigned by a supervisor.

• Basic literacy (ready, writing, math skills)
• Ability and licensed to operate motor vehicles
• Ability to properly use mechanical hand tools
• No previous experience or training required

  Automotive oils, fluids, and lubricants. Windshield washer fluid, battery electrolyte
• Environment:
  Frequent exposure to outside weather elements, noise, and vehicle exhaust fumes throughout the entire shift.

$8.50 per hour

• Free Top-Off Service To help keep your car running smoothly and safely, Spee Dee offers a free top-off service for the 3 months or 3,000 miles following any Spee Dee oil change or tune-up service.
