Business Development Specialist

• Identifying and researching leads for new work and proposal opportunities, including lunch and learn events.
• Supporting the project team by coordinating proposal opportunities and presentations for both prime and teaming arrangements.
• Maintaining consistent interaction with multiple offices, including principals, directors, and managers, to effectively support the business development strategy.
• Assisting with the development and budgeting of the business development plan.
• Identifying, tracking, and coordinating conference, industry, and award opportunities.
• Providing content and coordinating with the Social Media Team to support social media, marketing campaigns, and online presence.
• Ensuring that messages are supportive of and consistent with company strategy, delivering content via Linked In, Twitter, Facebook, email, or direct mail through the corporate marketing group.
• Conducting market research to keep up with changing demographics and other relevant issues to assist with evaluating business development and communication activities and monitoring emerging issues.
• Assisting with maintaining and updating databases.
• Performing additional research, administrative tasks, and/or special projects as needed.

• BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a similar field preferred (but not required).
• 0 to 3 years of business development experience.
