Estimator; On-Site – Carrollton, TX

Job Overview

NCS is seeking an experienced Estimator to support our Sales and Operations teams by preparing accurate, timely project estimates. This role is critical to winning new business and ensuring successful project execution. The ideal candidate has strong industry experience, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and job budgets
• Review RFPs, scopes of work, drawings, and specifications
• Develop and submit proposals and bids by required deadlines
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and project teams
• Participate in peer reviews to validate estimate accuracy
• Support project award notifications and handoff meetings
• Assist with shop drawings and post-award documentation
• Maintain consistent communication with internal teams and customers
• Follow all safety, quality, and company standards
• Represent NCS professionally at all times
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED (some college preferred)
• 5+ years of estimating or related industry experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to learn estimating and project management software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Experience estimating construction or industrial projects
• Familiarity with job costing and post-award handoff processes
• Experience working directly with Sales and Operations teams
