Job Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and technically skilled Estimator to support cost estimating and bid preparation for commercial façade, glazing, curtain wall, and building envelope projects. This role requires strong analytical abilities, familiarity with architectural systems, and the ability to develop accurate quantity takeoffs and pricing proposals.

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid packages to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor scopes.
• Solicit, evaluate, and coordinate pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Prepare and organize bid proposals, including scope clarifications and alternates.
• Assist in project handoff meetings, ensuring smooth transition to operations and project management.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and leadership to align budgets and project scope.
• Maintain up-to-date pricing databases and historical cost records.

• 3+ years of estimating experience, preferably within glazing, curtain wall, façade systems, or related commercial construction trades.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, architectural details, materials, and fabrication/installation processes.
• Proficient with estimating software, takeoff tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple bids simultaneously.
