Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior estimators to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Utilize basic Excel skills to assist in the preparation and organization of project estimates.
  • Learn and apply industry‑specific knowledge related to residential high‑voltage systems.
  • Work with home diagrams and blueprints to comprehend project scopes.
  • Support the estimation team in conducting material take‑offs and cost analysis.
  • Assist in preparing accurate and competitive bids for residential projects.
  • Learn and adhere to Home Pro’s estimating standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant project information.
  • Attend training sessions and actively seek opportunities for skill development.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Additional responsibilities assigned by the manager.
Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Interest in the residential high‑voltage field.
  • Ability to work with home diagrams and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant coursework is a plus.
  • No prior experience in estimating required; training will be provided.
